Masterplan 11.0
Masterplan is a commercial operations system for container shipping businesses.
It is used for vessel planning, terminal operations and as an onboard loading instrument.
Not only is Masterplan an entire solution, boasting its own bookings and terminal database, but it can also be
integrated into existing databases and systems.
There are various levels of installation from standalone systems
to networked multi user systems. It can even be integrated with third party products, such as Citrix,
to allow use over the internet, facilitating out of office planning and monitoring.

UN/EDIFACT - The United Nations Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport.
This is the de-facto standard for communication between business partners within the industry and Masterplan
uses it. BAPLIE for bayplans, MOVINS for stowage instructions and TANSTA for the tanks status.
Using these messages you can be confident of effective communication between parties within your organisation
and, perhaps more importantly, with those in external organisations even if they
are not using Masterplan.
